Y'all? Are you happy with what we have? I'm waiting on AT&T to hire a HS Economics teacher to run the company and explain to its shareholders that they're just learning on the job.

I'd take Kirby or Franklin to answer your question.

It would be very interesting to see Kiffin at Auburn because he is the Anti-Gus. It would be like the George Costanza opposite factor. Like you, he's not at the top of the list but he would definitely kick some dust up. I like Franklin or Patterson. I don't want  Bill Clark but only because he couldn't demand total control. I want someone who can demand and get complete control. Not sure Kiffin could do that either but it would be fun to watch.

By career win percentage Gus is 26th in FBS competition. He was 20th this time last year. It's not crazy that in conjunction with the November we had last year that you want to lock him as Auburn's head coach. But if you want a neat little website to scout Auburn's next head coach here you are...

Because we have a lot of posters on this board that are delusional. We didn't have a lot of top named applicants when Gus was hired and probably won't when he is gone. Bill Clark is an interesting choice, but he's a "High School" coach as well.

The man is dedicated to UAB. Sat on his butt for a year "hoping the football program would be reinstated". Doesn't mean I wouldn't like to have him.

bottom line unless a big booster like Yella fella. or Tim Cook steps and writes out a huge check Gus will be here for two-years minimum which means we're probably looking at losing to the same 5-6 teams for these next two years
