Starting a thread because I need to know he is ok. 

As soon as that other Bama player grabbed/held him (I think it was Smith and yes, to me it looked like Smith knew Davis was jacked up and not trying to strip the ball from him, but #bama), I knew it was bad. 

So doing what I always do and calling on @passthebiscuits for any insight. 

Were there any other injuries from tonight (aside from emotional)?

My understanding is he was ok outside of a concussion and possibly a stinger.

Both those players should have been called for targeting as they lead with the helmet.  But as bad as we were getting screwed by officials surprised it was not "overturned"

Pretty sure I heard the announcers say he wasn´t taken to the hospital and stayed in the stadium for the rest of the game. If the trainers had been more concerned they would´ve taken him straight to the hospital. So, I don´t think there is any reason to be overly concerned about him.

I highly doubt the bama defender knew he was hurt. 

But I digress, he looked like he took a serious stinger and I’m glad he’s going to be okay.

Not related to the intent of this topic but did Gus ever work Ryan out at QB?  It's too late now.  He doesn't have the prototypical size but seems to be a good passer and we know he can run.  He did play QB in high school.
