Crap....this sounds spot on.  And we all call it "stubborn."   I wonder how much of his hubris may be neurological.  Why would he fight to stay where it is apparent that he isn't wanted/appreciated?  I know - $7.5/yr.   But really, just think how caustic the environment will likely become once we drop 2-3 early with a new QB again.

This is my thought as well.  Odds are he will get fired mid-season.  Tulane and Kent State are winnable, maybe MSU.  so on October 5th we could easily be 2-4.  no way he can stay.   He is in over his head.
