The Prez is a moron

Paul Johnson just retired... Gus might be a candidate

And the Varsity is overrated....

I wish I could adequately convey the confusion that is taking place at Auburn right now. Trustees don't know what's going on. Coaches don't know. The AD is MIA. No one trusts the prez. And even the people directly involved aren't sure what's next.

Hmm..  Must admit, I missed that one in my time.  I actually lived in Lawrenceville & Lilburn so I spent more time in the NE suburbs than downtown but did have fun when we hit the town (or Buckhead).  Our wings place in the day was in JCB in Norcross called The Checkered Parrott.  Wings were merely "decent" but you got a TON for the money and beer was pretty cheap too.  In fact they had their party busses to and from the various pro games for dirt cheap.  Price of a ticket but free-t-shirt and free Keg there AND back.  I don't remember a lot of trips..... 😉

Big week last week. Kid #2 arrived last Wednesday. There was some other stuff, good and bad. All good now. Anyway, the IB was like 17th on my list of things to worry about but this latest sh** show is at least interesting. Might even top the end of last season as Most Auburn Thing Ever.

I wonder why Charlie Strong was not successful at Texas.     I think digging into his work would be worthwhile.

Matt Campbell is a hot name, but what about an OC from the NFL?  I don't know anything about the NFL (and not much about college some would say).

We used to be fond of telling people that we weren't from Georgia. We lived in Atlanta. 

It's not an easy place to live, that's for sure. You pay to play in that town.

Don’t believe everything you read the people running the program aren’t going to tip their hand until it’s done. Why would you tell a reporter? Unless you’re using them to leak info. And if BIG IF Auburn hires Stoops the excitement generated would probably keep most commitments.

Have one within walking distance of my place, used to love it.  Unfortunately it went down hill quick.  Smells like ass when you walk in and nobodys ever there.  Had a bad experience last month and we won't be going back.  Sucks because it was one of the last places around here you could get a beer for less than $5.
