Looks like even more Auburn players on the Iron's roster.  Ton of Gumps, too.

Quan Bray, Avery Young, Ryan White, Chris Davis and Trovon Reed.  No one on any other team, weird.

It's regionally based on purpose. Auburn players will always be on the Iron, with exceptions to QB who are allowed a little more freedom to fit schemes for coaches

Awww man, Gary Danielson is back on commentary.  I bet the kick six reference will definitely be mentioned the first Iron game he calls.

She immediately says no TD, then says wait a minute, TD. Lol

I actually found that refreshing to see.  I like being able to listen in to the thought process.

This league is perfect for Spurrier. No extra points, 4th and 12 instead of onside etc. Who would have thought he was auditioning for this league in his last game against us Haha? Maybe he can check off being successful as a pro football coach now.  Lol.

Actually enjoying the things I have seen so far from this league. My only complaint so far is the rush rule

Same here.  Sounds like we got the better game.  Gilbert has settled in.

The talent level has surprised me a little.  It's not bad and will get better as they play more games.

I may have to go the Legion Field to see the Iron play a game or two.

Either way I would say a successful debut. Orlando looked good tonight.  #51 on defense was everywhere.  What a game he had!  I liked the comment by Gary about Spurrier.  Since there are no extra points, he has no choice but to run up score after a touchdown lol.

This play has blown up tbe internet. Nostalgic football fans love it as it represents what the NFL used to be about. Still, the traumatic brain injuries are life altering injuries and the Alliance isn’t immune to lawsuits.

BTW did the Birmingham Iron win? How did our former players do?

Birmingham plays today, but only in CBS sports network, a paid subscription channel:pcprobs:

Orlando scored 40, with the orange and blue colors reminded to a little of the Spurrier of Florida days.  Atlanta was not very disciplined.  Aaron Murray came in at garbage time and seemed to be moving the team better than Sims. Sims got lit up one time in this game on a rollout, but just like the other hit, it was clean.  Only 5 man rushes allowed as mentioned above.

I have the sports package and that channel still is not included, ridiculous.

On another note, I did enjoy the game, my only real gripe is the 5 man rush, but we will see how that goes.

Not really a gripe, can’t say I’m a huge fan, but the uniform designs, etc, remind me of NFL Europe. They’ll probably grow on me, but the legends could have had a much better looking uniform set imo

The uniforms will take some getting used to.  San Antonio's is atrocious. Red on darker red with a Bama style helmet is a fail.  I was OK with Orlando and San Diego last night.  Love the Fleet logo on helmet.

I have DIRECTV Sports Package and do get the CBSSN (Ch 221).  My understanding is that the Birmingham TV Market will be blacked out though.  I will set the DVR just in case.

That's typical. Shouldn't be too many of the Iron on that channel.  They will only have 1 game a week of the 4 games, I think.
