Gene Loblaw 636 Posted December 14, 2018 Share Posted December 14, 2018 College sports fans seem to not really get it in some regards. Yes, football brings in more money than the basketball does. But most all of the money football brings in does not directly go to the actual NCAA like the money the TOURNEY does. The ncaa lives off the of the tv rights to the Tourney. So they're literally gonna do everything in their power to protect the brands/schools that make the tourney must watch tv. It sucks. But that's the case.
