It’s an excellent play. Without having two dynamic runners at QB and RB, it takes some counter scheming to use such plays in order to counter the mesh busting D linemen.

Offense or defense?  Whichever coach has the chalk last wins on play design.  Some things are easier diagrammed than performed on the field though.
