2019 Baseball NCAA Tournament Projections Thread

Never too early for a tournament projection. This is Baseball America's preseason projection for the field of 64. 

Auburn projected as a #2 Seed in the Clemson regional, paired up with the UCLA regional. 

 

Side note: Really think the tournament needs to re-seed after regionals. In this scenario, Auburn would be one of the better 2 seeds in the country (19th seed overall) and taking on the #3 overall seed at their house in the super regional.

FSU we knew that....its almost always FSU.   

Seems that when the NCAA is looking for a competitive ACC rival for us it is almost always FSU or Clemson.....the two schools that almost mirror the SEC with their athletic programs.

Trivial side note on FSU, they have an offensive guard (Brady Scott) that played summer and high school baseball with my son.  Was touching 90 with hais fastball as a sophomore and committed to play baseball at South Carolina.  As he got bigger (he's now about 6'6" and closing in on 300 pounds), he lost velocity and moved on to football.
