JUCO transfer Kyle Gray on the mound for the Tigers today. Sweeps are not paramount this time of year, but you definitely don’t want to start the year off with a series loss against an inferior opponent.

One change in the lineup today as Chase Hall with catch in place of Matt Scheffler.

Gray works out of it, but GSU gets two runs, one of them nothing but a gift from Auburn. Already two errors by AU.

GSU shortstop makes a clean play and rolls up the double play to end the threat in the second. Auburn getting beat in a lot of areas right now. Gotta get some timely hits. Need a little swagger.

Gray hits a batter and after two quick out in the third the bases are loaded for GSU once again. 

 

AU needs something good to happen for them today. GSU looks viable to get on base at any point in the lineup, and AU making a lot of unforced errors.

Howell singles to start the B3. But Chase Hall grounds into another double play. Tigers can’t get anything going. Ward batting with bases empty, 2 outs

Horn works out of a jam in the fifth. One out double put them at third and second for GSU but Horn gets a groundout to 3rd and a fly out to right.
