Tannon fields a soft chopper and rips it to first for the first out, then Podany makes a running catch on a fliner to short CF. 2 outs, bot 6, 4-0 Auburn. Rivera lines out, the CF throws to first to try to double off CM and the ball gets away, CM goes to 2nd. Veach "singles" and tries to stretch it to a 2b, looked out to me but the ump called her safe so it's a double, runners on 2nd and 3rd, 1 out, Tannon up. Tannon grounds one to 3rd, CM gets caught in a rundown b/w 3rd and home and is tagged out. 2 outs. Runners 1st and 3rd I think. She has very good numbers, but 7 of her 8 appearances have been in relief. 2Ks thus far, Rivera then hit a chopper for an IF single and steals 2nd. I can't do pbp this game unfortunately, GL Tigers! Tannon then struck out; all three outs were Ks. Fernandez has thrown 22 innings, has an ERA of 0.94. 15 strikeouts against 8 walks. Guess she hass 18 strikeouts now. Tied at 1 after 1. Handley walks the leadoff batter on 4 pitches. She eventually scores after 2 singles. Handley strikes out 2 and gets a groundout. Error by Snow at 3B. Top 2: Perry gets a single, but Podany and Dowell ground out, and Fornis strikes out. Going to top 3 as Handley getes two Ks and a groundout. Top of the order coming up.
