Last year I got a man from Virginia committed to Auburn with in at the last second switched and signed with North Carolina. And now it looks like Simpson is doing the same thing. He commits to Auburn sometime ago and now he flips over to North Carolina. What is Mack Brown trying to do? does the NCAA need to investigate? seems like they do. He was a highly rated player that the staff was ok with signing and ok going somewhere else. That video had been around for a while and everyone was aware, but the kid can play ball so it was seen as a unicorn. The grade deal is still something that could be looked into if someone really wanted. The kid in question that was "beat up" has said numerous times the video was just horse playing & the 2 are still friends to this day. 2. His grades weren't so bad they got magically fixed. Turns out Kelly having to transfer stung us twice. I've watched UNC a couple times. Kelly can ball. That was a loss. Not our fault. He signed with us; then, he had to or decided to leave. I wasn't personally moved enough by the flip flop Auburn/UGA thing (definitely some prima donna tendencies in him, but those tend to be the best), but this is my first time hearing about him fighting his school mate. He signed & enrolled at AU. He is under a microscope now though so he can’t do that. You don’t want him causing issues in the locker room. That would be a valid concern.
