Ciara Bryan jacks one over the RF wall.  3-1 UGA  AVANT has a 7.80 ERA in SEC play.  She looks like Lisa Fernandez tonight.

Handley is consistently throwing in the low 70's.  She got a K on a 73 MPH curve.  She can't get her off speed stuff close enough to the zone to get swings.  When she gets that going, she will be AUsome.  3-1 UGA going into the bot of 6th.

Veach hits one to the wall but it's caught for the 3rd out.  Going to the top of 7 down 3-1.

2 outs in top of 7.  Tay Snow error puts runner on 1st advances to 2nd on WP.  Walks the next batter.  Runners on 1st and 2nd 2 out.  Handly has thrown 105 pitches.  CMD makes change.  Swindle in to pitch.  Handley has a good curve and drop, but some of her changeups bounce to the plate.  First time I've seen her pitch.  Got to hold 'em.

too bad.  I did not watch tonight, busy with other things, but sounds like we wasted a pretty good pitching performance from Handley.  Georgia typically scores lots of runs in two games each series, not many in the third.  Today was the not many game.
