Baseball vs Georgia Tech

Does Georgia Tech EVER fire coaches?  Danny Hall still doing his thing in Atlanta.  Apparently his "thing" is doing less with more talent than any coach in the southeast.  Just don't see how he has lasted this long at a place that should be sooooo much better at baseball than they are.

Steven Williams led off the second with a single and Connor Davis followed with a double.  Holland then singled to score Williams, but Davis was thrown out at the plate by three steps.  Bliss follows with beautiful push bunt to put runners at first and third with one out.  Scheffler singles to drive in a run and Tech goes to the pen.  2-0 Auburn with one down in the B2 and the Tigers hunting for more.

Tigers came to the park looking to hit tonight...Kason Howell with the sixth hit of the inning makes it 3-0.

Somehow Georgia Tech finally gets out of the inning only giving up three.  3-0 Auburn going to T3.

Aye yie yie.  Wade gives up a single, wild pitch and a walk to start the fourth and his night is done.  Kyle Gray on in relief, runners at first and second with nobody out.

Good Lord Kyle Gray.  Bases loaded one out and he throws a fastball that could not have gone more than 55 feet.  Scheffler had to want to run out to the mound and kick his ass....

Pitch from behind with the bases loaded to a guy with a .467 batting average.  I don't care if it's the first year of kid pitch, you're going to get hurt.  Why all of a sudden do all our relievers want to spot every batter two balls??!!

Single, double, three walks, hit batter and two wild pitches from three Auburn pitcher in that lovely fourth inning.  Georgia Tech now leads 5-3 going to B4.  Wow, that reminded me of the pitching from my 13U team...makes you want to jump off the roof.

Pitcher crossed up the catcher twice in same inning the other day.....fortunately he was able to protect himself when a fastball showed up instead of the expected curve or slider.

Georgia Tech with a roster full of private school kids...shortstop with a classic soccer flop on a less than hard slide by Scheffler going into second base.  Oh we need to beat these guys badly.
