Tough way to lose a game, however a week ago I figureed Arkansas was about as good as anybody in the league.  Not sure they're all that.

So many reasons we lost that doesn't involve the umps. We have got to do a better job of hitting with RISP with less than 2 outs. So many times we had the winning run 90 feet away and couldn't do anything but strike out. Come back tomorrow with patchwork pitching and try to get the series.

Hate it for these kids. Especially after the walk off dog pile getting ripped away from them. Hope they come back tomorrow hungry.

Plenty of opportunities for us tonight, but Arkansas missed a lot of opportunities too. That’s SEC Baseball. Both pitching staffs will be on bullpen duty tomorrow. Have GOT to do a better job getting runners over at the plate. Also have to do a better job with walks from our pitchers. Fuller and Anderson both gave up runs with walks. Couldn’t get ahead of batters. If Auburn has a quick and clean eighth inning in Game 2, the tigers are likely going for the sweep tomorrow. Gotta patch together a win tomorrow, a series win over Arkansas would be huge. Let’s come out ready to hit tomorrow, and ready to hit give them free baserunners! Then, we’ll watch us win a final four game!!

I gave up in the 13th....nearly midnight but had confidence y'all could bring home a victory......thanks for the PBP the last few innings...considering how it ended, probably good that I called it a night.  

Hoping for better luck today...should be a big day for AU sports fans..

SEC West with four teams in the top 10 RPI.  And Mississippi State isn't one of 'em. 

We're a half game out of first....  Need to get this one today, not sure how the pitching is going to hold up.  Wouldn't want to be Steve Smith right now.

Well….other than the pressure.....I'd love to be where he is with a bullpen full of young left handed talent to develop.  Better things ahead....just hope it's not to far in the future.
