Baseball vs Ole Miss Game 3

Getting this one would help us out a lot today. I don’t want to call it a must win, but it will certainly make things easier on us down the stretch. Wind straight out to left today. 

Fuller in the hill. 1-0 Ole Miss already in T1 on a solo homer to left.

Nice DP turned by Holland and Bliss to end the inning, but Ole Miss strikes first. 

We CAN NOT screw around at the plate today. We have GOT to compete in at bats

Pretty pitiful inning to start for AU. 2 Ks and a weak chopper to first. Hard to watch our team bat in the first few innings sometimes.

Leadoff walk issued to the Rebs, but Fuller comes back with 3 strikeouts- very very nice by the freshman. 

Really would like to see some success on offense.

The young arms that have started coming along deserve to have the old bats do better.

A little more competitive at bats in that frame, but Tigers can’t get anyone on. Need to put up a 0 and snap out of this stupid funk our offense seems to find itself in for 2 out of every 3 weekend games.

Ole Miss will bring in a new pitcher. Conor Davis will be the batter with Julien on 2nd.

Davis strikes out, but the damage is done. The bats come through and Auburn scores 3. Now. Keep attacking.

And just like that, we’ve put ourselves in a dicey situation. A single and a walk and UM has them at 1 & 2 with no outs.

Ole Miss gets em to 2 & 3 with no outs but Fuller strikes out 2, and gets a fly out to center to end it!! What a job by the freshman. I’d like to get a little insurance here....

That just stinks for Fuller. He pitched so well and got out of that jam, but just couldn’t figure out 1 guy. 

Thats why ya buy insurance kids. Auburn can’t lay down once they’ve gotten out to a lead.
