Any chance he will rejoin the staff? Pretty sure he worked in recruiting before being signed by Detroit. Now that his time there is over, will he return to the plains or keep trying for the NFL?

Im not all about this thought that bringing back former players is the best thing since sliced bread, but Williams is still young enough that he can really relate to kids and could really help us out in recruiting.

@Auburn2Eugene Good question. Since he is from Saint Paul's too, he may participate in their summer workouts along with Auburn. I'm not sure what his plans are at this point.

Right now he's probably looking to stick with another team and I hope that he finds a good spot. But if not yes us getting a guy who could possibly open up the South Alabama northern Florida area of recruiting couldn't hurt at all

Graduate assistants and analysts aren't allowed to recruit off-campus. Adding Tre to a recruiter's role would require firing one of the current coaches and adding Tre as a position coach. That's not reasonable at this point in his coaching career, if he's even interested in a coaching career.

GAs and "analysts" recruit all the time. You're correct that it's not off campus though. That said, Having him on campus when South Alabama/northern Florida recruits we're visiting campus wouldn't hurt at all.
