Javy seems to be an early Face of the Class type of guy. He's been busy on social helping us recruit and just overall seems to really, truly be in love with Auburn. Really starting to like this kid.

Cohen got a 4* bump from Rivals this week & now is a composite 4*.

Yes but no guarantee I’ll be working in the recruiting areas.

Good luck with that buddy.  One door closes, another opens kind of thing perhaps...stay positive.

Gus caved in because of...?

He definitely needs to put on a LOT of weight to be an effective OL. No way he contributes his first year...

He's already 285. Worked with him on squats just last Thursday...

Can you elaborate?

Just playing the game. Alabama came calling and are keeping him on a string. PC is the worst spot for a lot of AU targets just due to proximity of Auburn in comparison to Alabama.

He's playing with fire by sniffing around. He's looking but he's not a take for his top 2 after AU, Bama & LSU.

I figured that’s what was meant, hate to lose any commits but especially OL this year

Ugh. I said all the same things about this guy that I said about Pappoe's teammate last year. Now, this. Sorry, guys. This one's on me if this goes sideways.

Even if it wasn't, I was prepared to blame you anyway.

Nope. Means somebody did an edit for him with his current committed school & World Bowl selection.

I don't know but I question his thinking if he doesn't shut it down. He has an amazing opportunity and we have a tremendous need. Now isn't the time for this class to start crumbling. We have a lot of potential for an elite class but we can't afford to lose a guy like Cohen.

Is it really such a great opportunity to play OL here?

Yes and no. We have put a fair amount of guys into the NFL and likely have the quickest road into being a starter right now. Not to mention, Auburn is a much lovelier city than most of our recruiting competitors lol.

Not a ton of offensive linemen lately.

We do provide a path to playing time, though.

We'll put three into the draft this year at least.
