NCAA Regional - Game 1 vs Coastal Carolina

Whomever stole the Auburn baseball team can keep them. The team we have now will do for the remainder of the tourney.

And it’s set. Tech struggled a little against FAMU and finally put them away pretty late. Our pitching will need to be very good, but hopefully we continue to see the same Auburn offense we saw today.

In his four career regional games, Steven Williams is 12-18 with 9 runs scored, 10 RBI, a double, a triple, and 2 HRs. He seems to like this set up so far. Hopefully, it continues tonight.

The score was like 13-2, if you call that struggling.

Looks like it continued. Williams was massive for us all regional. 6 hits, 2 HRs, 10 RBIs. Between Holland, Julien, and Williams (the big 3), they were 13-33 (.394) with 10 runs scored, 12 RBIs, and 6 walks. Just a phenomenal performance by those guys at the plate when we needed it most. Also worth mentioning that Ward (5 hits), Bliss (5 hits, 5 RBI), Woley (5 hits, 4 RBI), and Howell (4 hits) had great weekends too.
