Auburn In The NFL Thread

Stidham was 15/19 for 134 yards, but 5 sacks for 22 yards and a lost fumble.  3 sacks in the redzone, including the fumble.  He got blown up by quick defensive plays on some.

JS has a good quick release but can't call plays that take time to develop.

Will be interesting to see if Pats can get him past those tendencies

Perfect system for him. The Patriots thrive off of short- intermediate quick passing plays.

Frick the Vikings man. That coach was a total dirt-bag the way he treated Carlson and the press conference about him. The guy was a rookie who only played a few games and had more than proven himself in college. Obviously something was wrong with the coaching or environment the coaches had created up there because he's been more or less lights out at Oakland.

Crying for Legatron too since he will never see the playoffs as long as he's a Raider.

meh.

Oakland weather > Minnesota weather. I realize he plays in a dome, but he still has to live in it....and they built that dome on purpose!

I'd rather be in the playoffs or have a good chance of getting there.

Will not be long until he is living in Vegas and enjoying the desert heat.

Yeah well, Minnesota’s coach is still a dick.

That’s a good point. He will have to dodge bookies on the regular too.

GOT DAMNIT MAN!!!!!!! Cam just limped off the field and then went to the locker room. Already sacked 2 times in this game and it was not even a quarter of action. That Panthers line stays being atrocious and putting Cams health in jeopardy SMH.

The Panthers message board is always atrocious. Their mods are trash and they’re incredibly mean spirited. At least half of their board thinks Cam is below average and “holding them back”.

Cam’s played many seasons where none of his receivers would even be a WR2 on other teams. He’s never had an OL near as good as the current “greats” (Rogers, Brady, Ryan, Rivers, Brees, Roethlesberger, etc.)

Cam somehow made Tedd Ginn and Devin Funchess serviceable.

I bet he wishes the same. He’s an unfortunate “tweener” but if he found a team that could use him correctly he could have a decent career.

That and he just needed more playing time at the SEC level.   I know he gets good coaching in the NFL but those coaches are not oriented to teaching....expect their players to mostly be "game ready".....and he just needed more development and experience.   Still...as you say, he might eventually find a place where he fits the style of play.
