It is from a 3"x4" piece of poplar ( i think). This was a skid from a large pallet. These were the best pallets i've found for making furniture. The skids were 3"x4", and the slats were 1 1/8"x5.25". I just sold this one and i'm ready to start on the next ones. I've got a block of white oak, another piece of poplar, and a couple pieces of walnut to create some new ones from.
