Step 2 - Top prospect falls in love with AU & The Bruce!

Step 3 - AU becomes clear favorite up until signing time

Step 4 - Top Prospect signs lucrative deal with NBA G league.  😰

Davison is listed at 6'3", if he has any type of scoring ability you could move him to the 2 spot while playing coop at the 1. Plus we currently only have 1 ball handler on the roster so anyone who comes on with those skills will get plenty of playing time

@Rednilla Unlikely. JD is a combo guard, not a pure PG. He can play the 2 & probably do it well. Also we still have a need for a CG that is unlikely to be filled in the current class.

We weren’t the clear favorite for green. Auburn finished third. He may be referring to Kuminga but we are going to finish third they are also behind the G league and Texas Tech.

He would have to know he is going to get the greatest chance to play, if he feels good about playing the 2. If he only wants to play PG, then I don't see him signing with us.

His wanting to play for Pearl and Auburn, I hope will be based on the offense that Pearl likes to run which gives a lot of freedom to the PG and the SG to make plays and score.

I don't think that's a feasible sell, and Idk if it's necessary either. Bama has a logjam at guard and Memphis with have some very tenured guys at both the 1 and 2. Even as it's constructed now and in another season's time, regardless of Sharife, JD has the bigger pie here 

I understand, to your point, that if he was the 1 versus the 2 (his desired position Im sure), it might entice him even more. But, there's a possibility with how likable Sharife is amongst HS guys, he wants to play with him

Just to keep it scheme, being the 1 or the 2 in Pearl's offense, whilst here, pretty much means near equal touches with the rock, providing you could dribble. I think the 2020-21 2 guard might see it a lot less than Bryce or Samir, depending on Turbo's dev, but this'll probably look like an anomaly in the long term

@TheCHF I haven’t seen anywhere where he expects or plans to be a PG only. Have you seen that anywhere? Also we are supposedly in the driver seat so that means we are doing something right in our sales pitch.
