Florida looks like a 4 loss team tonight. A long ways to go.

I will take that if we can give them one of those 4 losses!

Felipe Franks needs that tudor that Mullen had at Miss St.

the boy is not a good quarterback (2-3 picks) and cannot make a complete sentence, and uses the word "UMMMMMMMMMMM" on each and every one.

I’ve never seen a guy suck so bad and still be that arrogant

They did early.  Then UF cheated up and cut that down.  If you don't have variety, it won't work for four quarters against an at least average defense.

My point with the lead, twice, one drive three straight runs, gained a total of two yards resulting in a punt. Another in scoring position, runs on first and 2nd for basically nothing. They did a terrible job of putting their rs Fr in 3rd and long situations

I see what you're saying, but that completely leaves out that the RS Fr QB is not good.  He can't read a defense yet.  If you suggest a quick throw, what's the solution if the first read isn't there?  You're asking for a sack or a pick.  He looked like a dear in the headlights most of the night.

Personally, I would have lined up wildcat again.  The two times they did that with their big receiver, it went for huge yards.

I agree on the QB part, but in that case then their O should’ve been wildcat and quick passes/intermediate. He did not have near enough time for anything deep. You have to have some kind of offensive game plan in that scenario. But with how their OL was struggling, especially after some momentum plays by their D, I don’t like the conservative running and trying to win it with FG’s. Without the muffed punt and the same guy dropping a TD pass, Miami had a good shot of winning this game even as bad as their O was

This is an all-timer tonight...and not in a good way

Probably set a record for beer consumption...that was a game to make even a teetotaler want a couple PBRs to get through it.

Nick Saban does the same thing. Almost every thing he says starts with a UMMMM if you ever noticed.

On the bright side I'm looking forward to waxing a top 5 Florida in the Swamp again this year! 😅

Gave up 4 turnovers, forced 9+ sacks against Miami's garbage OL and still only won by 4.

Gotta get past Oregon and A&M but October looks a little more manageable now lol.

Man, that was ugly. A contest of which team could be worse. I've never seen such poor tackling. And Florida, with an experienced QB and skill players stunk up the house. I really thought Florida would wipe the field with Caines. Ugly, Ugly.

Watching the Arizona vs Hawai'i game was much more fun. Sumlin still can't figure out how to play defense. But it was more fun to watch, maybe because neither team is expected to be competitive this year.

Miami class shows again...

Multiple reports say Florida's band was attacked after Miami game, director slammed to ground

Florida and Miami don’t play every year in football, but the Gators and Hurricanes still consider each other rivals. It appears the bitterness of the rivalry boiled over in Orlando after UF’s 24-20 win over UM.

CollegeMarching.com is reporting that after the game the Florida band was in its “parade order marching to their buses after the game outside of (Camping World Stadium) when a group of Miami fans tried to push their way into the band block.” The Director of the Gator Band, Dr. Jay Watkins, reportedly saw the commotion and went over to de-escalate. Watkins was reportedly placed in a chokehold and slammed to the concrete, hitting his head. The report also states that a member of the band was allegedly punched in the face and had a bloody nose.

The Facebook post below from Florida State music professor and Director of Bands (including FSU’s Marching Chiefs), Patrick Dunnigan, also describes the incident:

That's just ridiculous.  Straight bullying.  I agree the visiting bands should have security. Long has it been an honorable tradition to march to the buses. If band members were provoking Miami fans, that is a different argument, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

They are known as Thug U for a reason. Reprehensible.

But the original article at CollegiateMarching.com says "This type of behavior directed towards bands is truly unacceptable and unfortunately it happens too often." Do bands now need to arrange police escort at games? Or maybe a battle ax brigade marching with them!

If our defense is everything it's being billed as, we will make Mr. Franks look very, very bad.

I'm in wait and see mode.  Our defense took top billing last yr too and there were a few games where I was not impressed. :-\

I hope Williams enters the portal now and leaves that program in shambles. Dan Enos is a clown

That kind of crap from a coach is inexcusable.  Enos is indeed a clown.  I hope the head coach chews his arse.  I hope the university lightens his wallet too. (Dunno if fines are allowed in the ranks of the NCCA but damn...)
