That ypc for Fullwood is just insane!

I always remember him as a bruiser type back and not a big play guy, so I’m not sure I remember a lot of long runs that would skew this metric, but maybe someone else can remember.

How does Sandberg have 22 passing yards and 0% completions? Is that only because he's not attempted 100 passes?

No, I was at all of his games and he was a game breaker type of back. Now he was not an 80 yd speed back, but under 50 he was great at getting top speed quick and taking off. He led the SEC 2 years in YPA, and in his SR year he had over 8 yds per carry. He actually had better cutting ability than Bo, which allowed him to get those extra yds.

He was a great one. Not sure why he didn't survive the NFL...

No worries, I just wasn't sure how that was possible. I honestly don't remember Cord completing a pass last year. Was it during the bowl game?

Brent got in Packers doghouse (lost fumble first time he touched ball in reg season) and never got out so was underutilzed and had his trade value lowballed as a result. Based on interviews I saw he then quickly got tired of football. Odd IMO that he didnt win Heisman his senior yr.

Fullwood is my favorite Tiger of all time!  (Pat, Bo & Cam are too easy....like a 40 year old saying Tiger is his favorite golfer).

He wasn't really a bruiser.  Not that he was small but he wasn't huge at 5'11" / 200-ish LBS, I'd say.  However, he ran like a Warner Bros Cartoon character.... Legs ALWAYS spinning!  Matter of fact, though they don't physically resemble each other even remotely, I'd almost compare Shivers' running style to Fullwood.  1000 HP + 1000 LB-FT of torque...just TRY and stop'em!

Here's a nice little highlight video from one of my all-time favorite Tiger teams.

If I remember right, in his senior year of high school, Fullwood returned every KO he touched for a TD but one. I think he was 9/10 or something like that. Too long ago to remember for sure lol

Against Alabama State he threw his one pass for 22 yards!

That's also where he got his 3 rushes for 35 yards (more yards than JG has lol)

Last one since defensive stats are really difficult to find. For whatever reason they mostly seem to keep track of kickers only since 200. Still we know Byrum and Carlson are the Auburn standards.

Field Goals Made:

1. Daniel Carlson 92

2. Wes Byrum 60

3. John Vaughn 50

T-4. Win Lyle 45

T-4. Damon Duval 45

6. Al Del Greco

7. Cody Parkey 39

8. Jorge Portela 38

9. Scott Etheridge 34

10. Jim Von Wyl 32

Anders Carlson currently has 15 field goals made.

Field Goal Percentage

1. Daniel Carlson 80.7%

2. Scott Etheridge 79.1%

3. Matt Hawkins 78.8%

4. Win Lyle 76.3%

5. Wes Byrum 75.0%

6. Cody Parkey 73.6%

7. Jaret Holmes 73.0%

8. John Vaughn 72.5%

9. Ed Dyas 70.8%

10. Gardner Jett 67.6%

Anders Carlson is currently at 60% field goals and 100% PATs

Legs ALWAYS spinning

In 1986, Fullwood ran for a TD by keeping his legs moving against UGA.  The Refs blew the whistle way too early and negated the score. We lost that night 20-16.  The UGA fans were so elated, they ran on our home field and wouldn’t leave.  It is known as the sprinkler game. Auburn sold T-shirts that read “if you can’t beam ‘em, hose ‘em”.

I tell you, while going through these numbers my perspective on some players have really shifted. Starting to understand the "Moneyball" concept lol.

For example, I knew Onterio McCalebb was good but the dude is in the top 10 of almost every single major rushing statistic.

Also, Emory Blake who I absolutely loved and thought would have a little more success in the NFL was a monster for us.

Yeah. Blake was an all-time receiver on some all-time bad teams. Very unfortunate.

Very exciting to think that we have a true running back with OMac speed playing for OMac's (and Cory Grant's) OC.

So you could say Sean White was one of Auburn’s 10 best QBs 😁

I never once gave up on Sean White and I feel like he could have been the GOAT at some air raid AAC team like Houston. He played injured, with a crap OL, and poor play calling like an absolute champ. Unfortunately, the outside problems caught up with him. He really could have been something.

Not the worst qb ever, heck even throw out a couple of bammer games and slide in a Kentucky or 2 maybe top 3!

Cam can throw the ball a bit too! I would've thought Cox would be higher
