Yeah, was awhile ago though. He’s as tall as me so his height may have been doing some tricks on my eyes

That happens when you get married:poke:

There aren't any other than Adonai flipping & Kinchen being 50/50 with AU & Miami.

Adding a name to the OP., 3* Buck Jabril McNeill. Not creating a thread on him yet though due to other Buck targets. Here's an article on him...

Auburn offers, moves into top group for N.C. athlete

Jeffrey Lee • AuburnSports
Senior Editor

Jabril McNeill released a top group of schools in June, a group that didn’t include Auburn.

Then Auburn offered and things instantly changed.

“As soon as they offered, they moved into my top group,” McNeill said. “I’m definitely considering Auburn. I don’t know a lot about Auburn, but I know Auburn is a real scrappy team and is always in the mix to win a title.”

McNeill, from Sanderson in Raleigh, N.C., is 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds. He’s listed as an athlete and could project at several positions. Auburn, however, is recruiting him to play outside linebacker/buck.

McNeill speaks regularly with Auburn linebackers coach Travis Williams and bucks coach Al Pogue.

”I hear from them almost every day,” McNeill said. “I talk to them a lot and like them a lot.”

McNeill never has met either of the two coaches. He’s never visited Auburn. He plans to change both as soon as possible.

“I’ve never visited, but I plan on taking a visit just as soon as I can,” McNeill said. “As soon as everything clears up, I’ll be taking a visit to Auburn as fast as I can. It will probably be an official visit, but I don’t know, yet.”

McNeill doesn’t plan on making a commitment anytime soon, but he does plan to update his group of top schools. His initial list included N.C. State, West Virginia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Louisville, Washington, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State and Oregon.

“I’ll be releasing a new group soon,” McNeill said. “I’m going to make some changes to it.”

The amended version will include Auburn.

“They will definitely be in it,” McNeill said.

I was thinking about the predictions last month I read about, but I’m too lazy to look them up. 😝

Pretty sure they were for last month and we fell short, at least publicly.

don’t shoot the messenger but hope this is true

Nothing to shoot. Either JBoy or Tay has said AU has multiple silent commits expected to go public the next month to 6 weeks.

During this dead period, I didn't coaches could talk to any recruits. Georgia got a comitment from WR, Adonai Mitchell.

With the way we've been striking out lately, will Auburn University, or even the University of Auburn for that matter, ever get another football or basketball recruit again?

@auburn4ever Coaches can talk to recruits on the phone, text, social media, & face-timing. They just can't see them in person.
