Normally, I’d say yes, but I don’t think it’ll be a huge problem skipping one class under current circumstances. Yarbrough now has 3 more years of eligibility, and Dismukes, Penta, and Lowe have 4 years of eligibility. We also have 2 highly ranked 2022 pitchers committed.

I do know the top pitcher in the 2021 class visited Auburn but committed to Florida. Dean probably thought the late addition of a strong position player, like Peralta, was more important than reaching for another pitcher.

Not all of them are out yet. Still have the top 10 to go. The final top 100 list will come out tonight.  I would think we should have a couple in the top 10 show up.

Looks like we are starting to get the recruits needed to get back to the CWS. I believe this will be CMD's top rated class to date.

I’m really excited for this class! The Auburn fan base needs to be patient no matter what is going on on the field so we don’t start a negative cloud around the program that could affect recruits commitment, because CMD has a good plan coming along.

Very excited for the freshman class that’s there now and the future caliber of recruits CMDs pulling in.

Yeah. I had noticed earlier that there were no pitchers in that class, and thought that was odd. So I think it's true Munn didn't commit. 

And you refer to them as 2021 signee class. 

They haven't been signed yet. They are just commits.

Great to see us 2nd. Now the 2021 class is not signed yet, right? These are just rankings of commits...?

Louisiana- Lafayette is where Gerry Glasco went after Auburn. He is a good recruiter and there are a lot of good players/teams in the Texas area. 2021 class signs Wednesday. So technically they are commits until then. Strong recruiting class for CMD. 2022 class will be very strong as well. Two pitchers coming in that class. Emmah Rolfe is very talented. Might be the best pitcher in country even though her ranking is around 18th.

ULL, or just Louisiana as their alumni like, or ULaLa as LSU fans call them, was a softball power before Glasco got there.  They played us in the Super Regional at Auburn in 2015.  Known for their rabid fans in Lafayette.  The historical knock on them is their schedule not being strong enough.  Glasco and his staff have pulled in some high-profile transfers, notably a pitcher from Oregon, whose name escapes me at the moment.

I did not know our class was #2 GOOD that is insane! Hopefully we become a softball school again after our 2020 and 2021 classes lol

I believe they also got a couple of Georgia transfers; one added this week.  Their stadium capacity is about 2.800 which includes 4 bleacher sections in the outfield.  They also added an indoor batting facility about 4 years ago.  They do seem to love their softball.  They were 18 - 6 in the shortened 2020 season which included a 2 out of 3 win over the Gators and  split with LSU, Texas and Oklahoma State.
