AUght2win 6,818
Not as much fun to do this when we lose, but there were still players and plays worth highlighting. 1. Tann'd Hide - Tanner Dean, a walk on linebacker, made a huge play by stopping a mind boggling fake punt in the 2nd quarter. It helped Auburn retake all the momentum at the time. What's more impressive, is Dean held onto the punter while falling down. Fun to see a guy like Dean make an impact.
AUght2win 6,818
2. Moultry Science - T.D. Moultry's best play to date. He worked around the edge for a big sack. Definitely deserves props, as many of us have waited a long time for him to finally register a sack.
AUght2win 6,818
3. Lil' Brother Comes of Age - Anders Carlson had a tough season last year. He wasn't bad. But he was asked to do too much for a true freshman. He also suffered from being compared to his older brother, the SEC's all time scoring leader. Many Auburn fans unwisely rushed to judge Anders as a bust. Saturday he nailed a couple of key field goals (one from 48 yards) in one of the toughest environments in America. He showed he is, indeed, a very reliable kicker.
gr82be 14,402
Special teams as a whole did well. I know Sipposs only averaged about 40 yds but I'm good with that considering the negative return yards for UF. It does no good to kick it 50 yards if they return it 20. Coverage as a whole has greatly improved. Also only 1 KO was returned for 22 yds so it was actually better than a touchback in reality. @AUght2win covered Anders being solid in FG and seems to be becoming the kicker we thought we were getting when he signed. Overall so much improved from the first couple of games. It's nice to have confidence in the kicking game again.
PowerOfDixieland 3,225
Those are some fantastic pictures, especially the color in the first two. For those who like the flashy costumes (Oregon and the like), I would make this exhibit A for the classics. It just doesn't get any better than those two uniforms.... Sizzle 3,909
Yeah that Moultry play was really good. His bend around the edge was impressive, I didn’t know he had that in him, he got low. Hopefully that sparked something for him. Usually it just takes that one to really get going Javaris Davis gave up some catches but he had a few nice tackles

But it was good to see him get a sack. He has the most ability to speed rush the QB of all our DEs. Kat is quick, but doesn't seem to have the upper power to get around or bull rush the OL he goes up against.
