 A few years back, I posted Gus's winning % against teams with winning records vs teams w losing records at years end. It wasn't pretty. 2017 changed those stats to some degree, but I'd imagine not by much. I believe Philip Marshall had a free column Sunday showing Gus's lowest offensive production as an OC and HC. To no ones surprise 90%+  of those games were against teams with equal or more talent than we have (LSU, UGA, turds, UF, Clem). Per his column...

Was hoping we would face Georgia with them having a goose egg in the loss column.  If we beat them now, I am not so sure it will give us much boost in the rankings should we manage to climb back within reach and also win out...  Maybe I am wrong in looking back to 2013...  Hope this team grows from the loss and does not let the blemish ruin what started out as a very good / wonderful season.

 

Let's go Tigers, time to put on the big boy britches and win out..   Maybe this is Gus's wake-up call as well.  Can't coach to not lose.

Yes and uat’s defense is soft also. I think our d may be capable of slowing down Tua and his wide recievers. I’m hoping anyway. Tam had success running against them but threw to much. Mond just isn’t a great passer. Arky looked pretty decent against UK to start tonight. We could win them all or lose another 3 or 4 just hard to tell at this point.

Florida looks better then GA. And I didn’t feel too bad when they went down to LSU. They played well against them. It was the short pass that worked. Florida couldn’t rush for an inch so I hope we figure out how to throw the short pass in two short weeks.

I like our chances against them provided injuries do not take a toll on us  (we are already without Whitlow)

 

I would not count my chickens before they hatch.  Dogs lost today because line could not protect Fromm and also due to turnovers.  If you remember in 2017 those is the reasons they lost to us in the regular season but they corrected those deficiencies and best us in the conference championship.
