Don’t over play uga. They did beat a fla that we lost too, but it’s not a #4 team in the country. They haven’t played anyone besides a bad ND team and a bad FLA team. But what makes it bad is we should have beat uga, LSU and Fla with the best defense in the country and maybe the best that ever played at AU. Only Gus’s ineptness prevented that .

Gus has done more than enough on national TV to warrant his firing, there is no need to make up things.  Chizik was fired because he decided to completely revamp the offense, hired someone woefully unqualified to do it, and then went 3-9.  Gus did not "take someone else's recruits to the national championship game", he was 1 year removed from being the offensive coordinator when he returned.

We have just gone backwards offensively throughout the season. We many not score on Bama, and they'll have a 2nd-3rd string QB.

Yeh we lose 3 first and second round choices on defense besides the whole OL. And for those that say the OL wasn’t that good undoubtedly they were better than what we have on the bench and what we will recruit to play next year  we will be lucky to get six wins next year even with a easier schedule next year. If that’s what will do next year let’s do it other a new coach with actual possibilities.

You don't win without a QB.  K. Frasier was so  awful, they had to use multiple incapable QBs and that's why they went winless in the SEC. Gus didn't recruit the offensive line. That's what made the running game so effective.

Speaking of coaching, I mentioned it in the game thread, but it was first mentioned several weeks ago. Our TB's have a "tale" when we are running the football. They always bunny hop. If they stand flat footed, it's either a pass or QB keeper. Of note, we had a "tale" either last year or two years ago concerning our TB's and how they line up. A DC worth their rear will pick this up. That's just poor coaching.

Chizic’s defense was the heart of our 2013 run along with some very lucky plays that Gus has survived on through out his career.
