caleb1633 1,418 Posted November 18, 2019 Share Posted November 18, 2019 One of my friends who's on the Bunker told me there was a post from an "insider" that Jimmy Sexton went to Allan Greene last week and asked for a contract extension for Gus. Alan Greene said, "No." Apparently Gus is irate. This was supposedly confirmed by a moderator on the board. TIFWIW, but if true, it's just another reason to despise Gus. And for the life of me, Sexton may be more delusional than all of us put together if he thinks that Greene was going to give him more green. This rumor would be pretty stupid on Sextons part. I don't think we will hear any real facts until after the Alabama game. I would not believe anything I her until then. I'd say sure but first let's talk about an extension with a more appropriate salary rather than the current $7M/yr -- say, one with a composite salary of other similar perennial 8-5 coaches?
