My kids are always freaked out that I can recite word-for-word the Sanders/Yearout radio call when I play it. I bet I’ve listened to that thing 500 times😛

My wedding day.  I was at my apartment getting ready for the wedding, while catching the game on the tube.  After the two blocked punts, I am amazed that I could remember where the church was.  WDE

I was stationed California watching some PAC 8 game when CBS broke in with final moments of the game.

I was not a fan then at age 13  and thus did not hear the radio broadcast. Football really was not interesting to me at all until I attended AU later in the 70s.

It was not on TV but it was broadcast on radio. Gary Sanders doing play by play and Gusty Yearout doing color. "Gusty your mouth will work".

I know I am getting old, but I remember the game being on TV in Atlanta.  Maybe the game was blacked out in Alabama?
