Declaring early??? Punters almost never get drafted. What did he have to gain?

Perhaps a better question would be what did he have to lose.

To your point, punters almost never get drafted. Another year at Auburn won't change that, so he might as well go ahead and go. That's a big reason why you see these unexpected departures. It's sometimes a case of they have little to gain by staying another year.

More to this point, he is 27 years old.  Basically THE old man at AU if it weren't for our backup QB.  Heck he is likely older than most of the assistants out there.

Just look at his age, he had nothing to gain and was gonna be a 3 and done from day one.

In all seriousness, wishing Siposs much success. Having a true Aussie punter was fun. Lol

I am very upset....I wanted to see at least one good fake with the Aussie trucking through multiple defenders on his way to a TD. Wish you well in your future endeavors, mate

He actually didn't have to be 3 and done.  He could have left immediately.  The 3 and done is because you have to be 3 years out of high school.  He had that before he got on campus.

1. Good luck to him. Genuinely hope he gets a shot in the NFL and succeeds.

2. So he decided to pass up a degree from Auburn on this very low percentage shot at NFL? There must be some deeper explanation. Is he destitute? Is his visa expiring? Did team mates or coaches constantly razzzz him because of his accent? Was he unable to get laid? Was he unable to understand Southern English and struggling academically? Maybe we will never know the real story of Arryn Siposs.

He was a former rugby player, but we never saw him knock the hell out of anyone . So disappointed... good luck to him and hope he punts for 30 years in the nfl

Chad Morris loves fake punts.  Nix isn’t terrible at punting.  Has there been a Heisman winning QB/punter?  Nix throws for 4K, 40 total Tds and averages 45yrds a punt.

Been preaching that from the beginning. Gus’s ability to underutilize potential spreads to the punter as well.
