I figured you disapprove of any lawyer on "Team Trump." Notwithstanding, Dershowitz is a hell of an attorney. Has won some very big criminal matters that will be printed in casebooks for years to come.

Maybe so. Of course, “was” is not alway “is.” But if public relations matters to the client, would you recommend an attorney whose defense against sexual misconduct with a 13 year old was that he only took a massage and left his underwear on? Why is what he  claims even happening?

That said, I think the attorney choices appropriately reflects the client’s values and apparently those of his base.

Does not reflect anything other the man has a "limited" part on the "team". Beginning to be concerned about you Brother Tex. Seem to be working overtime coming up with ways to slam the "Trump base". Unhealthy

The base doesn’t care about Trump’s behavior so why would they care about Dershowitz’s? Decided they didn’t care about what he said he routinely did on the Access Hollywood tape, don’t care about cheating on his wife with porn stars, don’t care numerous credible sexual assault allegations. I worry about your denial of reality— not healthy. You are who you are, Salty. Don’t be offended that someone notices.

Ironic that Salty states it's "unhealthy" for TT to simply point out it's Trump supporters who are in pure denial. He doesn't even try to dispute the evidence on Trump, he just doesn't care.

Now that's "unhealthy", for him and the country.

I would make the recommendation primarily based on one's track record and success in court.

The "unhealthy'" thing for the country has been you guys beotching, whining , moaning, and crying chicken little for the last three years. My lord Homer. Look at your field of candidates attempting to take Trump out in an election year. The entire campaign is a joke.

He's another great example of how association with Trump ultimately damages one's reputation and standing.

Your denial about Trump is the joke, a pitiful one at that.

This is at least as much a political process as a legal one. Would their more recent record carry more weight than distant accomplishments?

No, were having to defend themselves by saying that that the rubdowns were done in their underwear.
I truly hope and pray these women get justice.

Go figure, it looks like Trump was not trying to hire lawyers based on their character. Who would have thought it? So is the team of democrats of noble character or is the media just not going after them yet?

Recent record and distant accomplishments as "in the courtroom" ? Not necessarily, but perhaps you can expound. (assuming I understood your question correctly)

When were the cases for which you were lauding him?

🙄 Deflect, excuse, dismiss, accept, enable. You are no better than those you enable.

Contrary to popular joking about lawyers, it is possible to hire one that is both great in court AND not a pedophile.

man every single day some cop, school teacher, preacher or coach is getting caught being a ped with along with with thugs and low lifes. and people who often deal with this kind of thing say most of your everyday peds were molested by other peds. if this country really wanted to protect their children why are they ok with hiring these kind of cats which seems to me to enable this kind of crap or even reward it? i do not get it and i never will but trump hiring  this cat is just another nail in the coffin as far as i am concerned.
