tigerbrotha12 2,362
No game threads, but Auburn won both games this week against a struggling AAMU team. Game 1: 10-0 Auburn Game 2: 12-6 Auburn Tigers hit 4 home runs over these 2 games and scored 22 total runs. Auburn is now 7-3 on the season with their losses coming to only 1 team, UCF. AAMU is not a good team at all. They’re in fact a bad team as they are still winless on the season at 0-10. Auburn will probably take any momentum they can get at the plate right now, though. Let’s hope this carries over into the weekend. While it’s not imperative to win every game against the non-conference slate, it certainly helps to have a few buffer wins for a fallback when you hit SEC play. All about peaking at the right time in these tournament sports, and Auburn’s got way too much talent to not be successful this season. Expecting to see this team hit, pitch, field, and execute better this weekend against Wright State.
jared52 4,354
AU got to see a lot of hanging breaking balls the last 2 games. Really need to see some mid-90s guys though since that's what they are going to see in the SEC on the regular and they looked dreadful this past weekend vs real pitching. But any momentum after that debacle is a good thing.
