But you answered assuming it was real. So that said, would any of these whataboutisms make the tweet in question better?

Take notes others who consistently can't seem to grasp what whataboutism is and isn't.  This was textbook.  Accusation made.  Reply doesn't address the original act at all.  No attempt made to show the accusation is false, or to even argue that what he's accused the person of isn't even a problem. Simply points to people on the other side who did something bad too.
