Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson is the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.

In the Raiders' 34-30 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, the former Auburn standout made all six of his kicks, connecting for two field goals and four extra points.

Carlson hit a 20-yard field goal with 8:13 left in the first half and a 54-yard field goal with 9:38 left in the third quarter. The 54-yarder was the longest field goal of Carlson’s NFL career.

The other Player of the Week Award winners for Week 1 were Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, NFC Offensive; Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, AFC Offensive; Washington Football Team defensive end Ryan Kerrigan, NFC Defensive; Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Casey Hayward, AFC Defensive; and New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead, NFC Special Teams.

Carlson also was the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 11 of the 2018 season.
