The man literally has Liberty playing with - and beating - legitimate P5 teams. Liberty is a school that just freaking made FBS in 2017.

Freeze is a hell of a coach and at a program like Auburn he could field the talent required to compete with the best. The only question mark he has is off-field bull****. If you want to use that as a reasoning for why we shouldn't take him, it is absolutely legitimate. If your argument is that he doesn't have a legitimately impressive resume at a bunch of bottom-dweller programs, then you don't understand football.

I personally know people who played for Freeze at Briarcrest(High School). Some say he was awesome, others say he was a piece of s***. The people saying the latter have an axe to bear, and the former are Ole Miss Alums. 🤷‍♂️

Yes Dan Mullen panned out. There are coaches that do become successful. But nobody was calling Dan Mullen an elite head coach when he was at Miss St! He had potential to maybe be successful if given the right resources. Much like Hugh Freeze! But he isn’t or never was referred to as elite. 
 

So I don’t understand football, because I don’t agree with your......Prediction..... that Hugh Freeze can take Auburn to Clemson levels. Ok, cool. Sounds like something a reasonable person would say.
