Easy. Some didn’t want Steele and some didn’t want Cristobal. They decided to compromise and get someone nobody wanted.

He wins everywhere he goes, and I'm sure he'd love to stick it to UAt. 

His JSU teams were solid and what he's done at UAB is amazing. I doubt it gets to him, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if it did. 

I really like the thought of us hiring someone who has been a consistent winner at multiple stops.

Agreed, I am not saying I want him over the bigger names but jeez I would take him over the Brown guy and most without HC experience. The guys story and what he has done is more amazing than almost any on the list. I never thought about the uat angle, that would be very interesting 🤔

So if it is Steele, do we just buy up tickets and boo the crap out of him every game? How do we express our discontent and disdain for the direction of the program in a way that affects change? Is it even possible? Or, do we just stop going altogether? “If it’s Steele, I’m out. Who’s coming with me?” Haha.

Yeah he wouldn't be the top of my list either, but definitely over Brown. Probably over Nappier too, but JMO. 

I still would like Kiffin or Freeze before anyone else.
