***TARGETS***

-11 a.m. CT -- SIGNING WEDNESDAY: Three-star defensive end Ian Mathews of Columbus (Ga.) Pacelli: Auburn and Georgia Tech are his finalists. The arrow is trending toward the Tigers. His announcement will be made via his Instagram live account: @bigiannn

-11.m. CT -- SIGNING WEDNESDAY: Four-star edge rusher Jeremiah Williams of Birmingham (Ala.) Ramsay: Williams, a Florida commitment, announced Monday night he was holding off on signing until February. This was big for Auburn, which was his No. 2 choice. But now Williams has Tweeted Tuesday he does plan to sign Wednesday after all. The Tigers continue to push hard here and haven't given up.

-10:10 a.m. CT -- SIGNING WEDNESDAY: Three-star defensive end George Wilson, Virginia Beach (Va.) Green Run: Wilson planned to visit Auburn last weekend but did not make the trip. FSU now is trending with the 247Sports Crystal Ball. Wilson is high on the Auburn defensive coaches, but the 'Noles were trending up at last check.

-6 p.m. CT -- SIGNING WEDNESDAY: Four-star running back Armoni Goodwin of Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.): Summer enrollee -- Goodwin will announce his final choice Wednesday evening with Auburn and LSU being the top contenders. He's a former Auburn commit but many feel LSU could be trending at this time.

-WILL SIGN IN FEBRUARY: Four-star linebacker Trevin Wallace of Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County: Summer enrollee -- A top-100 national recruit, Wallace now plans to wait until February to sign. Auburn had been the favorite. He wants to see if linebackers coach Travis Williams is retained.

-WILL SIGN IN FEBRUARY: Four-star defensive end Dylan Brooks of Roanoke (Ala.) Handley: Longtime Vols commit plans to wait to sign until February. If a new Auburn head coach pursues him, perhaps it could get interesting.

-WILL SIGN IN FEBRUARY: Three-star cornerback/safety Dontae Balfour of Starke (Fla.) Bradford County: Summer enrollee -- Balfour planned to announce his commitment and sign Wednesday but told us late Sunday night he now will wait until Feb. 3 to sign. Auburn had been his favorite. LSU offered this week.

-WILL ANNOUNCE DEC.23: Three-star edge rusher Byron Young, Georgia Military College (Ga.): Per Noles247, Young plans to sign next week and enroll at his new school in January. Auburn, FSU and Tennessee were among his top three. On Sunday the firing of Gus Malzahntook Young by surprise. “I didn’t know they were going to fire him,” Young added. “I don’t know too much right now. I just want to see what coaches will be there or who they’re keeping.”

-TBD: Three-star cornerback Armani Diamond, Eight Mile (Ala.) Blount: We'll be keeping an eye on Diamond, but as of late Tuesday night he still did not have an Auburn offer. The Tigers are doing their background work on him at the moment, his coach told us. Diamond blew up somewhat during Alabama-Mississippi All-Star week and the Auburn staff has taken notice. If Auburn offers, you absolutely could see him land with the Tigers on Wednesday. If not, keep an eye on Florida State.

-WILL SIGN IN FEBRUARY: Three-star safety Juwon Gaston, Montgomery (Ala.) Carver: No offer yet from Auburn, but the Tigers have tracked him for several weeks. Tennessee is the favorite right now, but he's not an early enrollee.

***COMMITS****

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, 10: 30 a.m. CT CEREMONY: Dematrius Davis, QB: Early enrollee -- Remains solid to the Tigers and plans to sign Wednesday. "Nothing to talk about. I'm signing to Auburn Wednesday and enrolling once I'm finished with this playoff run. #WDE," Davis texted Auburn Undercover.

-DELAYED UNTIL FEBRUARY: Tar'varish Dawson, ATH: Summer enrollee -- Florida State, Miami and Clemson are three programs to watch.

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, TIME TBD: Kamal Hadden, CB: Early enrollee -- Plans to sign Wednesday with the Tigers.

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, 10:45 .m. CT CEREMONY: Ahmari Harvey, S: Early enrollee. It sounds like he'll stick with Auburn.

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, 10 A.M CT CEREMONY: Lee Hunter, DT, Early enrollee -- Hunter is unsure of his plans but those close to him think he ultimately sticks with Auburn. Georgia is pushing hard, however, and that is something to watch. This is not a done deal for Auburn but we like where the Tigers sit.

-EXPECTED TO SIGN WEDNESDAY: Landen King, TE: Early enrollee.

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, 7 a.m. CT: Garner Langlo, OG/OT: Early enrollee -- Firmly committed.

-DELAYED/TBD: Phillip O'Brien Jr., S: Early enrollee -- Planned to sign Wednesday but announced via Twitter on Tuesday night he now will wait to see who Auburn hires.

-TBD: Tobechi Okoli, DE: Summer enrollee -- His coach told 247Sports that while Okoli remains solid to Auburn, he's waiting to see who the next coach will be. He's not an early enrollee so he could wait until February.

HOT BOARD 2.0: AUBURN HEAD COACH CANDIDATES

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, TIME TBD: Hal Presley, WR: Summer enrollee.

-TBD: Marquis Robinson, DT: Early enrollee. We have not been able to reach Robinson but have been told he's expected to sign Wednesday.

-SIGNING WEDNESDAY, 10: 30 a.m. CT CEREMONY: Jaeden Roberts, OG: Early enrollee.

-DELAYED/TBD: Eric Wilson, OG/C, Summer enrollee -- A Harvard grad transfer, Wilson is taking a step back to evaluate his options and will not sign Wednesday.

-TBD: Grant Calcaterra, TE -- An Oklahoma grad transfer, Calcaterra declined to comment when reached by Auburn Undercover on Sunday.

***LATE-NIGHT PROJECTIONS***

-DE/DT Ian Mathews of Columbus (Ga.) Pacelli --PROJECTED TO AUBURN

-DE George Wilson, Virginia Beach (Va.) Green Run: PROJECTED TO FSU

***THE LATEST INTEL***

Stay turned for updates throughout the day here and in the comments section below ....

10:25 p.m. Tuesday -- Here's an interesting nugget on 3-star defensive end Tobechi Okoli: While his coach told 247Sports on Tuesday that Okoli would not sign Wednesday, it's our understanding the Tigers have been in regular communication with the recruit and his family -- and they believe he very well could send in his Letter-of-Intent Wednesday.

10:36 p.m. Tuesday -- UPDATE: Not only is receiver Hal Presley of Texas locked in with Auburn, he just told Auburn Undercover he is sending in his LOI to the Tigers at 7:30 a.m. He's ready to go.

10:48 p.m. Tuesday -- UPDATE: Look for offensive line commit Garner Langlo to send in his LOI around 7 a.m. CT. He hasn't wavered despite Malzahn's exit.

10:55 p.m. Tuesday -- UPDATE: There is optimism entering Wednesday on the Auburn staff that 4-star DT Lee Hunter will stick with his commitment to the Tigers and sign Wednesday. His school will have a ceremony between 10-11 a.m. CT.

11:47 p.m. CT Tuesday -- UPDATE: There are sources telling us it is likely tight end commit Landen King signs with Auburn on Wednesday. We don't have a time when that might take place. He's having a huge senior season.

11:50 p.m. CT Tuesday -- UPDATE: Three-star defensive end Ian Mathews of Columbus (Ga.) Pacelli, who will announce at 11 a.m. CT on his Instagram page, is down to Auburn and Georgia Tech. We're told the Yellow Jackets think Mathews is headed to Auburn.

11:54 p.m. CT Tuesday -- UPDATE: We do not like Auburn's chances with 3-star defensive end George Wilson of Virginia Beach (Va.) Green Run. The coaching change didn't help but it sounds like behind the scenes he has been trending to FSU for about a week.

WEDNESDAY

12:01 a.m. --UPDATE: Spoke to someone close to 4-star DT commit Lee Hunter a little while ago and the feeling was that as of late Tuesday Hunter would stick with the Tigers. A few Auburn commits told us the same thing.

12:05 a.m. -- UPDATE: As of late Tuesday, it's our understanding Auburn had not offered 3-star corner Armani Diamond of Eight Mile (Ala.) Blount yet. He's the Louisiana Tech commit who had such a strong showing during Alabama-Mississippi All-Star week. We were told Auburn's staff reached out to people at Blount on Tuesday to look more into Diamond. That might have been a check on his academics, character, etc. Should Auburn offer Wednesday, we think Diamond likely would commit. Something to track today.

12:09 a.m. -- Regarding 4-star running back and former Auburn commit Armoni Goodwin of Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.), Goodwin deciding Wednesday instead of February wasn't thought to be a good thing since it's not clear right now what the staff will look like in the future. We'll continue to dig, but Auburn doesn't seem to be trending in the right direction at the moment. Crystal Ball picks are starting to come for the Bayou Bengals.

12:41 a.m. -- UPDATE: Lee Hunter's ceremony is at Blount High .... 10 a.m. CT.

5:47 a.m. -- UPDATE: We're told that after safety commit Phillip O'Brien announced on Twitter Tuesday that he wouldn't sign the following days, some Auburn commits reached out to him and told him to be patient as they understood his dilemma.

5:51 a.m. -- UPDATE: It's our understanding Auburn hasn't stopped recruiting 4-star edge rusher Jeremiah Williams of Birmingham (Ala.) Ramsay, Williams, a Florida commitment, announced Monday night he was holding off on signing until February. This was big for Auburn, which was his No. 2 choice. But then has Tweeted Tuesday he does plan to sign Wednesday after all and included an alligator in his Tweet, which would signal he was sticking with the Gators. But Auburn is pressing. His signing ceremony is at 11 a.m. CT and there was at least some optimism at Auburn yesterday. Monday night, we reached Williams and he told us, "I’ll answer in the morning ... I got a headache from thinking bout college." We never heard back after that.

So how many more recruits do you guys think we sign today?   Steele is having presser at 1:00 today to talk commits.

Lee Hunter, Ahmari Harvey, Ian Matthews, Kamal Hadden, and Landen King. Possibly Armoni Goodwin but LSU seems to be trending.

War Eagle and Welcome to Auburn Hal Presley.

A great target for our QB next year and in future years.

Should be a break in the action until 10:00 when Lee Hunter announces. Other than Armoni Goodwin (6 PM) he is our biggest one to watch today.

Honestly, if I were in their shoes, I would wait. At this point, about the only reason to sign (without knowing who will be the next HC) is to make sure you lock up a spot in case the new guy brings in his own guys...but even that is kinda stupid, because it means you have to wait a year before you can go somewhere that believes in you.

Maybe the next guy will actually use the tight ends in a primary pass catching role.

If we keep our current group of TEs + King + If we get the Oklahoma Calcaterra you'd be dumb not to!

Be dumb not to with our current group alone. Adding in those two makes it criminal if they don't.

Soooo glad Davis signed.

I wasn't worried about him after he reconfirmed so strongly even after Gus was fired. And I suppose it makes sense in that he's going to have an outstanding shot at taking over when Bo is gone (if not sooner...I've defended Bo a lot, even recently, but I can't help but be discouraged by his play this season. Last year wasn't a big deal, because he was a freshman and he did show flashes, but he can't get his fundamentals right throwing the ball, and he's not a good enough athlete to get away with that.

Sounds like we offered 3* CB Armani Diamond (cool name)

He made a name for himself in the Alabama-Miss All-Star game

Wow 2 Texas guys signed today. I would have thought they'd wait with Morris future uncertain. They must really like the AU campus and depth chart.

Another get we're rolling

Worth noting Armani Diamond was still being "vetted" last night and was offered some time this morning.
