Right now we've got 4 dozen articles about one 45 minute introductory press conference, and no, not even our players, give a crap about this week's game. For a program known not to throw to TE’s, it is remarkable we have any. But 7?!?! Maybe he was gonna turn half of them into OTs! Did any of them even look at our Offense before signing? How does that sales pitch go?!? ”I know ,son, we haven’t thrown to a tight end in 6 years, but you, son, are going to be the one to break the glass ceiling!” SEVEN times! Amazing. Tank is a stud. DJ has a good skill set but has been injury prone. Was hoping Shivers would be here to finally get used enough and properly. Sounds like a great opportunity for a hot shot freshman or two at RB. Step into your first practice learning a new playbook... just like all the veterans. Everyone is starting from scratch. Seems like a better deal that competing with a couple of others with multiple years of learning the playbook workout routines, practice schedules etc. Older guys are physically more mature and have experience, but it is a level playing field for just about everything else. It will take a exceptional player to come in and compete for tanks job, but their best opportunity would be right now. come in at #2 or #3 to Tank, and there is a good chance you would see playing time. They might move Reed from CB to S. Not really sure. Tennison impressed me with his physicality during the last game. Our safety recruiting has equalled our OL recruiting. The only good part is that there are two and not 5 positions. I forgot about the extra year, as @j0hnnyRingo pointed out for Peters.
