The last 2 pages have been a discussion about players opting out because they made a rational choice based off of their perception of the risk.  Yet we have posters not understanding this statement.  It’s your life, you get to make decisions based off of your perceptions of reality.

Let’s be real. Most of these bowl games are meaningless with the exception of the playoffs. These are just desperate money grabs. You got teams pulling out of bowl games the week of, some bowl host not even doing games and others flat out refusing to go. The only thing that really matters this year is the playoffs. Quite frankly this was the year to expand the playoffs

If you sign scholarship papers to Auburn, I expect you to entertain me for 3 hours, 12 times a year.  So for those opting out, you better learn and record a talent of your choosing, and post it to a major social network site by Friday.  I like stand-up comedy and action thrillers.

I would say that it obviously is, and it is obvious to me because I know Devil, but the scary thing is some people actually do think that way even if they don't know it. (They like to claim that they are indignant on behalf of the players' teammates and coaches, when the reality is they just enjoy casting judgment on young men from afar. One can only guess the motivations for that.)
