Kudos to Orlando sticking with this kid, drafting him early regardless of his injury. They clearly saw the Chuma we already knew.

Chuma continues to play amazing. 18 points to lead the Magic in scoring and helped the rebuilding team beat Kawhi and the Clippers. I hope that he can continue this play the rest of the year. It's so good to see him prove to everyone that he deserved to be drafted despite the horrible injury.

10 day contract seems concerning.  Is this a trial thing before releasing him?

He'll make more money this way, but after 10 days Knicks could sign him to another 10 day contract or release him. If they sign him to a another 10 dayer, then he will only have a couple days left in the BB season. Knicks will then have to sign him to a standard contract or release him....

OK cool.  Didn't realize season was basically over.  Hopefully he brings his G League game with him and secures a spot for next season.  Bryce still with them in G?
