TitanTiger 20,469 Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 I would expect the additional $1400 stimulus checks to be passed by the end of January when a Democrat takes over as Senate Majority Leader. The other 'free stuff' probably has an uphill battle. The Dems only have the votes to pass stuff if they keep all 50 Dems together, meaning VP Harris would put them over the top. But there will be various bills (including some "free stuff" ones) where relatively conservative Dems like Manchin (WV), or Dems from swing states won't go along and will side with the GOP.
