Avalos getting the HC gig at Boise supposedly improves Spencer Danielson’s chance of becoming the DC at Boise.  That would explain his reversal on the decision to come to Auburn.

I assume you mean T-Rob? Would he not be interested in coaching LBs here? I know it’s hard to go backwards from DC, but it would be interesting to pair him together with Mason.

Why is this in AUFamily Football? This is garbage non-AU stuff.

These were coaches who were rumored to be candidates for openings on Harsin’s staff, and their decisions could affect the direction We go with our remaining openings.  I think it’s a valid Auburn football topic.

Kodi might be a good recruiter but, he doesn't seem to coach them up very well. It's time for a change.

To be fair, we don’t know how much of that was scheme.

Wow I thought Freeman was a done deal to LSU. I love that he went to ND instead. Smart move IMO. Coach O won’t be there much longer.

Agree. Kodi apparently did a great job as the RB Coach when he was at ASU

Agreed. It’s trending that way. I actually thanked a buddy today who’s an LSU fan. I said thank you for breaking all of Auburn’s records in 2011 for worst team after winning the title lol.

Because those that determine those things have deemed it relevant

No way

Bird. Its been a year or so since I last posted. Glad to see you're still on the board. If Kodi is not kept on the field he will be offered a position in the athletic dept. He was loyal to Malzahn and an AU man. Great guy that can be utilized and an asset in many ways. I wish him well and hope he stays.

I know after the LSU debacle this year a lot of people are writing off Coach O and LSU. They has a unique set of circumstances more so than most schools this year. Large number of players who went to NFL, another large group who opted out because of pandemic, a large number of new coaches some who didn't do well. That said they have had a great recruiting year number 5 in nation so far number 3 in SEC some young players got PT they normally wouldn't have. Even though Secondary got burned badly it was not as much about talent as confusion and missed assignments with right coach that can be fixed when you have the talent.

If they have another year like this one you can then start discounting Coach O but I would not be surprised to see them be very good next year.
