Last time I ate at 5 guys it was $ 18.00 and I said if I'm going to pay that much for a burger I might as well go to Longhorns & pay $25.00 for a steak. I'm like E, it doesn't impress me, I don't need 15 pounds of potatoes with my burger anyway.

@bigbird It's not $20 from their site. I got the $20 from Door dash. From their website for the Auburn store is still too high: a bacon cheeseburger is $9.69. small fry $3.89,  & a regular drink is $2.49. Sales Tax 9%. Total $17.51. Still too damn high!

I'm with both you and @ellitor. Overpriced and overrated. I remember the first time I ever had it I was impressed but over the years either I've had better burgers or their quality has decreased.

Lamb burgers tonight. Can't wait.

Oh and the best thing about making your own- this is where we find out how coachable young Powell is- is putting them on Martin's potato rolls. Although I've been coming around on brioche buns, too.

Nice. I’m not a huge (wild) venison fan but ground venison makes the flavor really good, especially on that brioche. Powell is gonna dig those....
