once again, a fine upstanding Christian Republican who is on record opposing homosexuality as being immoral and leading to America’s decline, is caught cheating on his wife in a years long affair. 

He says he won’t run for the 2022 senate spot now, which is good because he’s not a good politician, but is also possibly bad because it might give Mo Brooks, who is even more stupid and hypocritical than John Merrill a boost. 

 

Why do all politicians in Alabama have to be such hot garbage?

This is one of those guys that is only sorry he got caught. He didnt have a one nighter here. It was not a one time event, nor week, nor month, nor year.. And he will almost assuredly have more affairs and get caught with them as well. These types never change.

Sadly, this not surprising and not his first affair. He seems like a Joel Osteen, always with a fake smile who would tell you what he thought you wanted to hear. Constantly politicking.

However, he is correct that the homosexual agenda will be one of the final nails of the destruction of this once great country. Private Christian schools, colleges and institutions, as well as churches, will be forced to bow down to their demands or lose their tax exemption status.

I coached at the high school level until last year. My observations of the private schools in the South...Most, say 75% or more of "Christian Private Schools" are only private so the lily white parents can keep their lily white kids away from Blacks, Latinos, and what they consider to be White Trash Middle Class Folks.

100% spot on. Merrill was in full on denial mode and accusing the woman of stalking him and saying this was all a political smear campaign. Only admitted to the affair once he found out she had recorded one of their sexual conversations and released it to the press 🤣

there's at least one more instance in 2010 the media knows about where he was cheating with the wife of one of his friends. He says all they did was kiss and that when she wanted to get sexual he left the room, which I'd say is almost assuredly a lie, especially since the woman admitted in her divorce proceedings that they had sex..

You're right, there are likely others that nobody knows about. 

 

Cheating on his wife multiple times all while standing up giving sermons about family values and how teh gays are ruining everything. what a clown.
