We likely see either Herzog or Poynter today starting today with ERA's of 2.02 and 2.06 respectively. Herzog is also a good hitter with BA .361 with 8 HR. All the free passes issued by Broadus in the first inning contributed mightily to our run total. Meanwhile, Lowe walks no one. Only got to a full count about 3 times. On a slow rolling bunt, you don't glove it, you bare hand it and treat it like a door knob. There's no time for a transfer from glove to throwing hand. HAve you noticed that our 2 coaches on the softball and baseball teams are both low key personalities that their strength and past history is of being very good pitching coaches? But to manage a team of players, develop a team that is strong willed, produce quality hitters, pitch and field well, and be the kind of teams that find a way to win, these coaches are not showing they can do that.
