It's wild what these total morons at the NCAA enforce and what they don't.

Bama is literally running a mafia size scam with millions in illegal benefits going to players and recruits meanwhile we're worried about some arbitrary coaches on the road during spring bull**** lol. LSU's basketball coach is on tape talking about paying players? Nah, that Cooper kid has a dad who is an agent. A player with a dying relative wants to transfer? Nah. A star quarterback wants to transfer for no legitimate reason and wants instant eligibility? Bet.

They are literally one of the most incompetent agencies imaginable.

There was a kid at UGA who wanted to rap while playing football at the same time and the NCAA made him choose because they said he couldn’t do both 🤨

The NCAA has no idea what they’re doing

I wonder if he could give up his scholarship and play as a walk on? Seems like someone out in Las Vegas selling real estate did that in basketball. Not sure the outcome or if I have the particulars right.

Which is why they will no longer exist in the future.

Sports reflect society. We have selective rule/law enforcement and penalties in society, so the NCAA is just playing along.

Yup, UCF had a really good kicker who had to choose between his YouTube career (something he had long before getting to college) and football. The guy blames UCF now (weirdly bitter) but it was 100% the NCAA being jackwagons.

yeah and how is the LSU coach allowed to coach anywhere ?   Like the man should be banned for cause or whatever it is called.  Bruce lied about a BBQ cookout and got banned  for 3 yrs.      A cookout!!  The 2 players were already committed!!!

We're still paying for the sins of an assistant. Even after suspending players for longer than we were told and self sanctions left and right.

The postseason ban for this year made zero sense.

They are on their last leg and outlived their usefulness.  The sole reason they are still standing is b/c they control billions of annual revenue with the NCAA basketball tournament.  They make rules and don't enforce them or just pick and choose what to do.  There's too much money involved in football and basketball.

I mean, for ***** sake how is Will Wade still LSU's coach?  How hasn't a single school tied up in a massive FBI fraud case not received any punishment (except us and Oklahoma State).

But what's the thing that's finally going to end them?  The NCAA always does just enough not to keep their position and they're very careful not to upset the real power - the bluebloods.  The top tier schools are still making insane amounts of money, so no incentive to overhaul.  All of the message board warriors have been predicting the NCAA's downfall since at least the Dodge Charger days, and nothing ever happens.
