boomstick 1,315 Posted October 4, 2021 Share Posted October 4, 2021 John Brooks withdraws from the camp due to a back injury. No replacement for him has been announced yet. Ream withdrew a few days ago and was replaced by Walker Zimmermann. Matt Miazga might get called in to replace Brooks. We currently have 4 CBs on the roster. mustache eagle 2,388 Posted October 4, 2021 Share Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) The last camp for brooks wasn’t great then brooks red card at his subsequent club game and now out of camp … makes me wonder if there is something else - personal - going on with him and not just an injury that all of a sudden pops up. im still hopeful with sands as a central dB in a 3 back alignment. Not reading too much into the fact that we're top the table right now, but if we beat Panama on Sunday that will open up quite a gap and put us in excellent position wrap up qualification early.
