Auburn football has had an incredibly rich history of running backs that have run for a ton of yards.

The Tigers have had running backs that have been decorated with all types of awards ranging from a Heisman Trophy to SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors.

Auburn fans have been a tad spoiled with all of the great backs that they have gotten to cheer on while being on The Plains. The Tigers have had coaches that have believed in a hard-nosed style of play and used a running back to wear down opposing defenses over the course of a game.
