For several Auburn commits and targets, opening week of the 2021 season is in the books. 

Here’s a look back at how they did. ….

-RB Damari Alston, College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy: Woodward Academy beat McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing Christian 17-14. Alston rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on 24 attempts and added two catches for 50 yard. He scored the go-ahead points on a 5-yard touchdown run in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

-LB Powell Gordon, Auburn (Ala.): Auburn beat Montgomery (Ala.) Park Crossing 45-0. Gordon had two tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble.

-WR Omari Kelly, Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.): Hewitt-Trussville beat Pinson Valley (Ala.) 49-27. Kelly had six catches for 95 yards and added 40 yards rushing.

-S Caleb Wooden, Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer: Archer lost to Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake. Wooden finished with 12 tackles, 7 solo stops and 1 tackle for loss.

-DE Caden Story, Lanett (Ala.): Lanett beat Georgiana (Ala.) 54-7: Story's game stats aren't yet known, but the win gave his father, Lanett coach Clifford Story, his 100th victory for the Panthers.

-PK Alex McPherson, Fort Payne (Ala.): Fort Payne lost to Athens (Ala.) 41-40.

-WR Antonio Williams, Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork. Dutch Fork beat Wren 70-8. Williams had three catches for 17 yards and 52 total yards in returns.

-RB Quinshon Judkins, Pike Road (Ala.): Pike Road beat Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen 76-51. Judkins was out with a minor injury. Per Al.com, he could play this week.

-2023 RB Justice Haynes, Roswell (Ga.) Blessed Trinity: Blessed Trinity beat Stockbridge (Ga.) Woodland 34-6. Haynes rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries.

-2023 WR Adam Hopkins, Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central. Thomas County Central lost to Tallahassee (Fla.) FSU School 35-15. Hopkins had six catches for 39 yards. 

-2023 CB Ethan Nation, Roswell (Ga.): Roswell beat South Forsyth (Ga.) 45-26. Nation recorded 7 receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown, an interception, a forced fumble, 3 tackles and returned a kickoff for 52 yards.

-2023 DE AJ Hoffler, College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy: Woodward Academy beat McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing Christian 17-14. Hoffler finished with two sacks.

Alston looks powerful and fast. He's thicc  like his film. 

Idk if Bobo/Auburn HS played a bad team but Bobo absolutely manhandled kids from all spots on the OL. Maybe it got better after I turned it off. But thought the opposite of Harris
